On behalf of Chi Omega Xi Gamma, welcome! My name is Annemarie Wright, and I am honored to serve as our current Chapter President at Michigan State University. Here on our website you can find a small glimpse into the lives of our amazing chapter members and how they embody our six purposes: friendship, community service, high standards of personnel, scholarship, participation in campus activities and career development.
At Michigan State University, Xi Gamma continues to be an outstanding chapter on campus. Our grade point average is consistently ranked among the top sorority grades and our members are involved in many prestigious community and campus organizations. We are proud to have a strong partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation that has allowed us to be a part of granting wishes in the Michigan community. Our new Week of Wishes philanthropy event helped our chapter raise $1,700, in addition to our participation in Greek week allowing us to raise around $3,000 for Make-A-Wish.
Our members are a group of diversely talented women contributing their skills and time all over the campus and the city of East Lansing. Every day I am continuously impressed by the achievements and character of the women in our chapter. I am challenged by each of them to be the best version of myself, but the relationships I have with these women is what I cherish the most.
Coming to Michigan State University, I never expected to find a home and community filled with so much love and encouragement at such as large university but Chi Omega welcomed me with open hearts. Joining Chi Omega has been the best decision I have made in my college years. These outstanding sisters have taught me so much in such a short time. Our chapter is built on genuine relationships that make our foundation so strong. These relationships have blessed me with a true sisterhood, for which I am incredibly thankful. During my time as President, I look forward to promoting and encouraging our everlasting sisterhood of Chi Omega.
Chi Omega -Yours Forever,
Annemarie Wright
